Grooming Dogs Beautifully Since 2002 

Welcome to Classie Grooming was established in 2002 and has built a loyal customer base and a reputation for delivering a high-end grooming experience for our clients.

We would like to welcome customers old and new to our brand new grooming studio in the beautiful village of Willaston on the Wirral/Cheshire border.

We will be offering a full range of services including:

Mike Wildman

Championship Show Judge

Worldwide experience

Mike has devoted his life to all things dogs and has been fortunate enough to have worked in many roles and made life long friends the world over. 

Grooming and Showing is his passion. He started dog showing in 1990 and has made up Champions winning challenge certificates for himself and other's in no less the 7 breeds, most noticeably his cocker spaniels, amassing over 40 CCS with 4 of my own Champions. 

Mike is an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG), an accolade he holds with pride. 

Along with winning Groomer Of The Year (possibly his biggest achievement), Mike also won Best of Breed at Crufts with a German Shepherd. 

Mike is also a championship show judge and has officiated in Sweden, Denmark, Bratislava, Germany, Ireland, Serbia, Finland and the U.K. 

He has handled dogs in the USA and Europe and has also had the honour of judging many of the UK's grooming competitions and has given many seminars and demonstrations in the U.K. and overseas.

Natalie Smith

Certified Professional Groomer

Natalie joined the team at Classie in 2015. Prior to joining she had gained extensive knowledge and experience through her prior roles undertaken at boarding kennels.

Natalie has continued to develop her grooming skills and excels in scissor work, a technique she enjoys greatly.

She also has a real passion for English Cocker Spaniels.

Natalie is a Certified Professional Groomer (CPG) and is currently working towards her International Certified Master Grooming (ICMG) qualification.

Tracy Harding

Level 3 IPET Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management

Tracy joined the team at Classie in 2019. Prior to joining she had gained knowledge and experience at Four Paws training school at the weekends whilst also working as a dog groomer at her own salon in Newcastle under Lyme.

Tracy has continued to develop her grooming skills and excels in long silky coated breeds such as the Afghan hound which she throughly enjoys greatly and has a real passion for.

Tracy is working towards the Certified Professional Groomer (CPG) qualification.

Jennifer Nolan

Certified Professional Groomer

Jenny retrained as a dog groomer in 2013 at Fir Trees Grooming School. Jenny is a keen exhibitor of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and has recently started in Cocker Spaniels too. 

Jenny joined the team in June 2021 and is keen to develop her grooming skills to a higher level and loves being part of a team again. Jenny is also a breed judge for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and is enjoying exposure to all the different breeds that customers bring to Classie Grooming and is also working towards her ICMG.

Alison Broad

Certified Professional Groomer

Alison is the owner of a highly successful mobile grooming business which has been offering in-house grooming for over 12 years.

She joined the Classie Grooming team in March ’21 and has really enjoyed working as part of a busy grooming team enhancing her grooming skills, in particular hand stripping.

A lifelong dog lover who grew up with a Corgi and two Yorkies and now is the proud owner of two English Cocker Spaniels.

Chandra Chevannes-Diggins

Certified Professional Groomer

Chandra has attained Level 3 IPET Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management and joined the team in January 2022. 

Prior to this she has gained knowledge & experience whilst training at Four Paws training school. She has since undertaken further training courses and attended seminars and is a proud owner of a successful business in Crewe Cheshire

Joining the Classie grooming team is enhancing her skills for hand stripping in particular her love for the English Cocker Spaniel.

Olivia Gow

Salon Trainee Groomer

Liv is currently studying A levels at Wirral Grammar, alongside working for Classie part time in pursuit of a career in veterinary medicine.

She has gained lots of invaluable work experience while expanding her knowledge of dog grooming and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Classie team since October 2020, having previously worked at a boarding kennels.

Liv has always been a passionate dog lover and has 2 cocker spaniels of her own.
